Pristina, July 13th, 2026 – The Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj met with Mr. Andin Hoti, Minister of Labor, Family and Values ​​of the Liberation War, where they discussed various topics of close interest to the citizens of the country.

The topics discussed were related to safety and health at work, the issue of double pensions, child housing, as well as the draft law on Labour.

Mr. Hoti said that the ministry, among other things, has undertaken actions for social reforms and in the future will start with pension reforms. He expressed readiness and interest in cooperating with the OI so that the recommendations from the Ombudsperson can be implemented.

The Ombudsperson emphasized that these reforms are essential for a better life for citizens, which bring security, protection, well-being and enjoyment of the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the country’s constitution.
