Pristina, December 15th, 2025 – The Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj, reiterated his commitment to fighting discrimination in society with a special emphasis on marginalized groups and not only.

He emphasized that the Ombudsperson has investigative powers in the public sector, but when it comes to discrimination of citizens in employment in the private sector, he has the power to supervise institutions that handle citizens’ complaints.

He said this at a panel discussion where the Kosovo Center for Gender Studies launched the report “Prejudice at the Door: Uncovering Discrimination through Testing Situations in the Labor Market”.
