Ombudsperson Naim Qelaj met the new head of the EU office in Kosovo, Aivo Orav

Pristina, October 29th, 2024 – Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj met the new head of the EU office in Kosovo, Ambassador Aivo Orav, and wished him success in fulfilling his mandate.
Mr. Qelaj said that the Ombudsperson’s Institution was built on the basis of the highest standards, staying true to its main principle, which is independence.
The Ombudsperson praised the cooperation with the EU office so far. They expressed readiness for deepening cooperation for the improvement of human rights.
