We, the Ombudsperson’s Institution, are outraged at the endemic killing of women in the Republic of Kosovo. We demand an end to the culture of acceptance of violence against women. It is time to end the shaming victims, hold perpetrators accountable, and change cultural norms to advance women’s equality at all levels.
