Pristina, April 18th, 2024 – The Ombudsperson, Naim Qelaj hosted the head of the OSCE mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Michael Davenport, and discussed many issues related to human rights and the cooperation between the two institutions.

Ambassador Davenport emphasized that he appreciates the work of the Ombudsperson’s Institution that it has done since its establishment 24 years ago, improving the state of human rights in the country.

Mr. Qelaj said that cooperation with the OSCE mission has been important, which has helped the country’s institutions to make positive changes and has made the work of the OI easier.

They are committed to further strengthen the already constructive partnership to promote and improve human rights in Kosovo.
