Ombudsperson met Giovanni Pietro Barbano, Head of EULEX

Pristina, December 18th, 2023 – Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj met on Monday Mr. Giovanni Pietro Barbano, Head of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo, EULEX.
They discussed numerous issues related to human rights and the rule of law, including the cooperation so far between the two institutions.
Mr. Qelaj and Mr. Barbano both reiterated their committment to continue cooperation in the future with the aim to improve human rights in the country.
