Pristina, July 13, 2023 – The Ombudsperson and the Forum of Civil Society Organizations condemn the physical violence that occurred today during the session in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Ombudsperson and the civil society organizations of this forum call on everyone to refrain from language that incites hatred and violence, to take care that with our actions we create an environment of respect, tolerance and constructive debate, that helps to fulfill the mission to represent the interests of the people and the country.

Such events must never be repeated because they have serious consequences for the citizens and are not in the best interest of the country.
