Pristina, March 21, 2023 – Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj signed a cooperation agreement with the non-governmental organization, Opre Roma Kosovo, represented by Sebastijan Serifovic.

The purpose of this agreement is the cooperation for the realization of joint activities and projects in the field of human rights, with the aim of advancing human rights in the country.

The scope of the agreement concerns the cooperation before the implementation phase of the national census in Kosovo, which will be held in 2023.

Joint activities will be carried out in the form of awareness campaigns with the aim of informing about the importance of the active participation of Roma in the population census process.
