Prishtina, 14 November 2021 – The Ombudsperson Institution (OI) will closely observe the second round of elections for Mayors on 14 November 2021, throughout the country.

Based on its mandate, the OI will monitor the election process from a human rights perspective in all municipalities where the second round of mayoral elections is held.

The OI will keep the main office in Prishtina open throughout the election day, to receive any complaints regarding allegations of possible violations of the rights guaranteed by the legislation in force in the Republic of Kosovo, during the voting process.
