The Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj received the new Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Michael Davenport.

Mr. Qelaj briefed Ambassador Davenport on his priorities for the protection of human rights and in particular through objectives set on the recent published strategy of the Institution, for the next five years.

The Ombudsperson noted the cooperation that the Institution has with the OSCE Mission in Kosovo and asked Ambassador Davenport to coordinate on certain topics.

Ambassador Michael Davenport said he would continue to work to further deepen the level of cooperation with the Ombudsman Institution.
