Pristina, April 15th 2021 – The Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj was received on Thursday by the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Glauk Konjufca.

The Ombudsperson congratulated Mr. Konjufca for the new position of Parliament Speaker, asking for cooperation in the protection and advancement of fundamental human rights and freedoms.

Highly appreciating the role of the Ombudsperson’s Institution in the field of human rights, the Speaker Mr. Konjufca has expressed his commitment to implementing and addressing the OI recommendations.
