October 14, 2020, Prishtina – The Omnudsman, Mr. Naim Qelaj received in a meeting the members of the Committee for Human Rights, Gender Equality, Missing Persons and Petitions.

Mr. Qelaj thanked the deputies for the visit and stated that he and his associates will continue to raise to a higher level the cooperation with the committee.

The chairwoman of the committee, Mrs. Duda Balje congratulated Mr. Qelaj on behalf of the group for the new position, adding that the Parliamentary Committee will continue even stronger in building mutual cooperation.

Various topics were discussed at this meeting, in which case the parties agreed to have regular meetings every three months between the Committee and the Institution of the Ombudsperson.
