Prishtinë, June 6, 2019 – Kosovo Ombudsperson Mr. Hilmi Jashari, welcomed today in a meeting Albanian People’s Advocate, Mrs. Erinda Ballanca, accompanied by her associates, within the scope of her first official visit in Kosovo, since her appointment on this position.

Kosovo Ombudsperson expressed his thankfulness to Mrs. Ballanca for the visit and welcomed the opportunities to be discussed between two Institutions in carrying out the cooperation and joint projects, in order to contribute on intensification of the respect of human rights and fundamental freedoms in both countries.

During the visit, Albanian delegation is going to meet with officials of several Institutions of Republic of Kosovo, as foreseen by the given below agenda:

14:00 Welcoming meeting in the Institution of the Ombudsperson

15:00 Meeting with Mrs. Arta Rama, the President of the Constitutional Court of Republic of Kosovo

7 June 2019

9:00 Meeting with Mr. Enver Peci, President of the Supreme Court of Republic of Kosovo.

11:00 Meeting with Mr. Xhavit Haliti, Vice president of the Assembly of Republic of Kosovo

14:00 Meeting with Mrs. Duda Balje and other members of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights.
