Prishtinë, 11 December – The Ombudsperson Mr. Hilmi Jashari, with his Deputy Mr. Mehdi Geci, welcomed in a meeting Master’s Degree students of the Faculty of Law of Prishtina University “Hasan Prishtina”.

In the course of this meeting, the Ombudsperson Mr. Jashari, spoke regarding the role and the mandate of the Ombudsperson Institution as well as about the respect of fundamental human rights in Kosovo.

Students also exposed their interest on the issue such as respecting of recommendations that the Ombudsperson addresses to Institutions or responsible authorities.

Challenges that Kosovo faces related to the issue of human rights and fundamental freedoms, were discussed in the meeting as well.
