The Ombudsperson held today an “Open Day”, regular monthly meeting with the citizens.  .

In these meetings, citizens submit their complaints regarding possible violations of their rights by public authorities. The Ombudsperson had a talk with the citizens and, based on his responsibilities to investigate complaints lodged by any natural or legal person regarding allegations of human rights violations envisaged by the Constitution, Laws and other acts, as well as International Human Rights Instruments, admitted their complaints and provided the citizens with the advices on cases of violation of their rights. These meetings identified cases of violations of human rights, which review will be done based on the Ombudsperson’s competencies.
