The Ombudsperson, in cooperation with OSCE Mission in Kosovo, started with a cycle of workshops “I am a HUMAN and have my RIGHTS “

The first workshop took place in Prishtina and will continue to be held in Municipalities of Prizren, Gjakova, Ferizaj, Mitrovica, Peja and Gjilan.

The workshop aims broadening of knowledge as well as awareness rising as per human rights, the issue of equality and non-discrimination among young people.

In the course of this event, competition on the best photo and poetry on human rights theme, initiative commenced by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, has been presented.

On this occasion the opportunity has been provided to the youth to be more thoroughly acquainted with the mandate and the competencies of the Ombudsperson Institution, the way of complaint addressing to the Institution as well as were informed related to the human rights package of laws at effect.

Know Your Rights Platform was presented in this workshop as well, where youth of different ages had the opportunity to be more comprehensively informed about their rights and the procedure of complaint addressing through the platform, in case their rights are violated.
