PRISHTINË – 1 June – on the occasion of marking the 1ST June- International Children’s Day, different activities for children were organized by Ombudsperson Institution (OI) in Prishtinë, /Priština, Graçanicë /Gračanica, Prizren and Gjilan /Gnjilane so that the children obtain basic information on human rights. During these activities children through drawings and pictures were informed regarding their rights.

On this day children of different age in Prishtinë, /Priština met with Mr. Hilmi Jashari, the Ombudsperson and OI representatives, whereas in Prizren children met with the deputy Ombudsperson, Mrs. Marija Radulović.

During these activities children through drawings and answering on quiz’s questions regarding human rights, exposed their interest and stands regarding children’s rights. They were provided with books, notebooks, pencils as well as other items for children.

In order to be thoroughly informed on the work conducted by the OI on protection and promotion of human rights in Kosovo, parents, who jointly with their children attended these activities, were provided with copies of OI Annual Report.
