On December 4, 2017 the Ombudsperson took part in a round table organized by Kosova Disability Forum, in cooperation with HandiKos, in occasion of International Day of People with Disabilities (December 3).

Marking of this day was intended to obtain everyone’s support in order to increase the dignity, to respect rights and to ensure the wellbeing of persons with limited abilities.

The Memo of Cooperation was signed by the Ombudsperson and Kosova Disability Forum, by the end of this event, the aim of which is to increase the level of interactions between OI and above mentioned Forum, for better functioning of cooperation and coordination of joint activities concerning protection of disabled persons in Kosovo.

Cooperation in the direction of improvement, protection and respect of rights of disabled persons in Kosovo was highly evaluated by participants as necessary and very important.
