Offices of the Ombudsperson Institution will be open on Election Day, for possible complaints
Ombudsperson Institution (OI), on fulfillment of the mandate entrusted, on 22 October 2017 on Sunday, the day when Local Elections in the Republic of Kosovo will be held, will keep open the Central Office in Pristina and the regional offices.
The purpose of having OI offices open during the voting process on Election Day is admission of possible citizens’ complaints related to the allegations of vote violation or breach and misuse of the rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the country and the Laws at effect.
Locations of the OI offices are as follows: Main Office in Prishtina (Str. “Migjeni”, No. 21), while regional offices are located in the following addresses: in Prizren (Str. “Remzi Ademi”,n.n) in Gjilan, Str. “Boulevard of Independence” ( former Court’s building, n.n.) in Peja (Str. “Mbretresha Teuta”, No.59, Municipal Building, 3rd Floor, No. 3), in Mitrovica (Square: Agim Hajrizi, n.n. Regional Tax Administration Building ), in North Mitrovica (Str. “Sami Frashëri”, Bosnian Neighborhood, ADR Building), in Ferizaj (Municipal Building on the ground floor), in Gjakova (Str. “Ismail Qemali”, former cadastre building), in Gracanica (“Car Lazari” n.n).
The main office as well as regional offices will be open from 07:00 in the morning till the closure of voting process.
