With the intention to mark the World Press Freedom Day, the Ombudsperson organizes Round table discussion on the theme “Reflection over the Role of the Press on Dynamics of Social Processes”.

Discussion at this roundtable will be a good opportunity to encourage journalists on their work, to reflect on the role of the press on social processes as well as to evaluate respect of freedom of press and freedom of expression, as rights Constitutionally guaranteed, but at the same time crucial in consolidating democratic societies which, which in their foundation have respect of human rights and freedoms.

The event will take place on 3 May 2017 (Wednesday) starting from 11:00 -13:00 and the venue is Ombudsperson Institution (Conference Hall, Floor IV, St.”Migjeni”, no. 21, Prishtinë).
