The Ombudsperson continued further with his lecturing within the program “Guest Speakers” of “Kadri Zeka” University in Gjilan, with the theme “The role and importance of the Ombudsperson in Kosovo”

During his lecturing with the theme “The role and importance of the Ombudsperson in Kosovo” in front of academic and administrative staff as well as students, the Ombudsperson Mr. Hilmi Jashri, pointed out the need that students ought to gain knowledge about overall situation of human rights in Kosovo and the function of Ombudsperson Institution from the day it has been established till today, including the work concerning complaints, cooperation with national and international institutions, best practices but also about challenges and obstacles which Ombudsperson Institution encounters in its daily work.

At the end of this lecture, a short session in making questions to the Ombudsperson was foreseen, thus the opportunity has been given to students to raise any question of their concern.
