The Ombudsperson, Mr. Hilmi Jashari hosted Mr. Narasimha Rao, Chief of UNHCR Mission in Kosovo (UN Agency for Refuges) in a special meeting.

During this meeting, Mr. Jashari and Mr. Rao, signed a Memo of Cooperation, the purpose of which is provision of a framework within which the Ombudsperson Institution and UNHCR can develop and undertake collaborative activities and projects in the area of protection, monitoring and promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms of asylum seekers, refugees, stateless persons, displaced persons and voluntary returnees.
