Ombudsperson Institution with support of United Nations Development Program (UNDP) organizes the workshop with the theme: “Implementation of the Law on Protection against Discrimination- Procedures and Responsible Authorities- Ombudsperson Institution, Judiciary and other stakeholders – Challenges and opportunities”.

With the new Law on Protection against discrimination, the Ombudsperson is determined as mechanism for treatment of cases that deal with discrimination as well as Judiciary has broad authorizations as per law implementation.

This Workshop will offer an opportunity of joint discussion between Ombudsperson, Judiciary and other stakeholders regarding implementation and challenges in implementing of the Law on protection against Discrimination as well as procedures and suctions while handling cases based on discrimination.

The event will take place on Monday 2 November 2015 starting at 09:30 at “Emerald” Hotel in Prishtinë.
