22 May 2013 – The Ombudsperson, Mr. Sami Kurteshi, visited the Blind Association of Kosovo and met with the head of this association.

The discussion was mainly focused on difficulties and the needs that blind people in Kosovo have. Specifically it was noted the lack of law enforcement and the need to harmonize and adjust them with the needs and specifics that different categories of people with disabilities have. At the same time mutual willingness was exposed from both sides for further cooperation in offering greater access to blind people on information and activities that Ombudsperson Institution (OI) perform of as well as on institutional and public life in general.
