15 January 2013 – The Ombudsperson, Mr. Sami Kurteshi visited Municipality of Ferizaj and met with the president of this municipality, Mr. Agim Aliu

The aim of this visit was to present to the mayor of the municipality the aim of the Ombudsperson Institution to open an office in this municipality, as well as to submit to the mayor a request for providing an adequate working office within the building of the municipality. The Ombudsperson considers that since a long time there was a need to open such an office in this municipality, but only now this is possible due to the increase of institution`s budget.
The president of the municipality of Ferizaj, Mr. Aliu expressed his readiness to provide adequate work office and welcomed the opening of this office considering it as a corrector of the work done in this municipality, especially with regard to continuous observance of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
