The Ombudsman of Kosovo with his collaborators visited the municipalities with majority of Serbian community – Shterpce, Ranillug and Kllokot
The Ombudsman of Kosovo Mr. Sami Kurteshi with his collaborators visited the municipalities with majority of Serbian community – Shterpce, Ranillug and Kllokot.
During these visits Ombudsman Mr. Kurteshi was welcomed in the Municipality of Shterpce by the President of the Municipality Mr. Bratislav Nikolič, in the Municipality of Kllokot by the President of Municipality Mr. Sasha Mirkovič and in the Municipality of Ranillug Ombudsman was welcomed by the Vice-president of the Municipality Mr. Nebojsha Kenič.
During these meetings with the Presidents of the Municipalities were discussed the possibilities of cooperation, promotion and protection of the human rights in these Municipalities with multi ethnic composition.
The leaders of the Municipalities during these meetings expressed their readiness to cooperate and support the work and activities of the Ombudsman Institution in these Municipalities. The Municipal leaders also offered logistic and organizational support during the Ombudsman’s “Open days” meetings with the citizens who are foreseen to be held in these Municipalities from time to time and in case of need.
Ombudsman, Mr. Kurteshi thanked the representatives of the Municipalities for their hospitality and their readiness to cooperate on protection of the Human Rights in these Municipalities.
