Pristina, Kosovo – On Tuesday, the 31st of January, 2006 at 10am, Acting Ombudsperson of Kosovo, Mr. Hilmi Jashari, will attend the first open day applicant session at the Ombudsperson Institution field office in Gracanica.

Pristina, Kosovo – On Tuesday, the 31st of January, 2006 at 10am, Acting Ombudsperson of Kosovo, Mr. Hilmi Jashari, will attend the first open day applicant session at the Ombudsperson Institution field office in Gracanica.

The Deputy Ombudsperson of Kosovo, Mr. Lubinko Todorovic will accompany Mr. Jashari during this open day session.

In a statement made by the Acting Ombudsperson, Mr. Jashari said:

“The Ombudsperson Institution is the only human rights protection mechanism in Kosovo, and being an independent and impartial body, it has helped to resolve hundreds of cases from all sectors of Kosovo society. Therefore it is a fundamental value of this Institution to field the human rights concerns for any and ALL Kosovans.”
