Ombudsperson spoke about human rights with students of Universum College

Pristina, December 2nd, 2024 – Conversation with students of the Universum College on human rights who today learned more about the work and powers of the Ombudsperson.
The Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj, initially explained to the students his mandate and powers in the protection of human rights and areas of responsibility based on the Law on the Ombudsperson.
Mr. Qelaj described in practical terms the receipt of a citizen’s complaint and the handling process. He also spoke about the types and number of complaints that the Ombudsperson receives within a year.
