Ombudsman Institution of Albania visited Kosovo

Pristina, November 7th, 20242 – The Ombudsperson’s Institution hosted the delegation of the Institution of Ombudsman of the Republic of Albania, respectively the department for the protection of children.
Following the visits, the staff from the Institution of Ombudsman of the Republic of Albania, led by Commissioner Mrs. Olta Aliaj also had the opportunity to meet institutions and non-governmental organizations that aim to protect children’s rights.
In these visits, it became possible to create more knowledge about legal procedures, as well as to discuss the special problems faced by children in the Republic of Kosovo and Albania.
Both sides agreed to carry out mutual visits between them in order to exchange experiences between the two institutions, addressing the problems, challenges and successes in the direction of protecting children’s rights.
