Pristina, July 18, 2023 – Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj met on Tuesday the Chief Executive of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, Mr. Kushtrim Hodaj.

The discussion focused on the cooperation between the two institutions, the complaints related to the allegations of human rights violations in the case of arrest and police detention, as well as the answers delivered by the inspectorate to the requests of the Ombudsperson, which the latter highly appreciates this cooperation.

The parties pledged to continue cooperation in the future regarding the respect and protection of human rights.
