Pristina, January 26, 2023 – Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj gave a lecture to the students of the program “The European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratization (EMA)” based in Vienna and Venice.

Ombudsperson spoke about the general state of human rights in Kosovo, about his mandate and powers, as well as about the functioning of the Institution, since its establishment until today. Mr. Qelaj explained the work of handling complaints, the cooperation with local and international institutions, the best practices, but also about the challenges and problems.

Students were also interested in many other issues related to human rights. The IAP is visited by the students of this master’s program in the field of democratization and human rights every year.
