Pristina, 26 September 2022 – The Ombudsperson Institution and the Office of the Language Commissioner work together in promoting and advancing language rights in Kosovo

On the European Day of Languages, the Ombudsperson Institution of Kosovo and the Office of the Language Commissioner wish to reiterate their commitment to promoting and advancing language rights and multilingualism in every-day life.

This means empowering all communities, fostering a culture of respect and inclusion, and achieving a greater intercultural understanding among all people in Kosovo.

Both Offices are committed to promoting the importance and value of linguistic and cultural diversity for social cohesion and community development in Kosovo.
