The Ombudsperson met with EMA students

Pristina, 14th September 2021 – The students of the program “The European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratization” (EMA), based in Vienna, Austria and Venice, Italy, visited the Ombudsman Institution as part of their master’s program in the field of democratization and human rights.
The Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj gave a short lecture to the students talking about the mandate and activities of the institution and about the situation of human rights in Kosovo.
The discussion continued with questions and answers, where students had the opportunity to ask about various issues in the field of human rights in the country, procedures of complaints, cooperation with local and international institutions, and the work of the national mechanism for prevention of torture.
