Pristina, April 27 th 2021 – The Ombudsperson, Mr. Naim Qelaj received in a meeting on Tuesday the President of the Kosovo Chamber of Hospitality and Tourism, Mr. Hysen Sogojeva with collaborators.

The topic of discussion was related to the complaints of the members of this chamber regarding the measures taken by the Government of Kosovo for protection against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mr. Sogojeva stressed that hotel owners are in a difficult financial situation and that they can not continue like this because they are on the verge of business collapse.

Mr. Qelaj emphasized that the Institution is continuously following the situation with the pandemic and the requests of the Chamber of Hospitality and Tourism.
