Prishtinë, 4 octobar, 2019 – Ombudsperson Institution (OI), in accomplishing the mission entreated to it, on Sunday, 06 October 2019, on the day when Extraordinary Elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo will be held, will keep open its offices in Main Office in Prishtina as well as in regional Offices.

The purpose of keeping OI offices open during voting process on Election Day is admission of possible citizens’ complaints regarding claims on violation of the vote or misuse of rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the country and laws at effect.

The Ombudsperson calls for the respect of the law as well as rules set and admitted jointly with equal opportunities for the vulnerable groups (persons with disabilities, persons without access to free movement – hospital, prison etc.). Rational actions and friendly rhetoric and preconditions for integrity and electoral credibility as well as peaceful and acceptable elections.

Main and regional offices will be open for possible complaints from 07:00 in the morning until end of voting process.
