ACTIVITIES OF THE OMBUDSPERSON INSTITUTION ON THE OCCASION OF 1 JUNE, INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S DAY

On occasion of marking the 1st June- International Children’s Day, OI representatives will have the opportunity to meet children of Prishtina/Priština, Graçanica /Gračanica, Prizren and Gjilan /Gnjilane. During these activities children through drawings and pictures will get information regarding their rights.

International Children’s Day, is celebrated on1st of June in different countries of the world as designated at World Conference for the Wellbeing of Children in 1925 in Geneva, Switzerland. Usually different activities are organized on this day in order to promote the rights of a child.

The following is the program of activities planned for 1st June

In Prishtinë/Priština square “Skenderbeu” from 11:00- 13:00,

In Graçanica/ Gračanica in front of the Municipality building from 10:00 -12:00,

In Gjilan/ Gnjilane in front of OI regional office from 11:00 -13:00,

In Prizren/Prizren close to the Municipality building from 12:00 -14:00
