Jashar Kastrati

Jashar Kastrati was born on 10.03.1961 in Hogosht, Municipality of Kamenica.
He completed primary and secondary school in his hometown. In 2002 he graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Prishtina, and in 2010 he completed his master's studies at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Prishtina and received the degree of Master of Economic Sciences.
During the period 1992-1995, he ran his private business in the Tourist Services Enterprise "Teuta Tours" in Gjilan.
From May 2002 to August 2009 he worked at the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, while from September 2009 to December 2016 he held the position of Executive Director at the Ombudsman Institution.
Since January 1, 2017, he is in the position of Secretary General at the People's Advocate Institution.
